INTRODUCTION.

The Catholic Men Association was first introduced in kenya in 1970’s when kenya hosted the International Conference for the association.However the group never took root until it was officialy initiated at the diocese level on July 27th 1996 when representatives of 22 parishes met at St Peter Clevers Catholic Church in Nairobi.The group was first introduced in our church here in 1997 when over 80 Men attended the initial seminar and has since spread to other out stations of the parish.

All catholic me above 18 years of age are eligible for membership.

Mission and Objectives

The mission of the association is the universal church aim of evangelization and sanctification of man  and the Christian education of his conscience.This can mission can only be fulfilled if the individual member is active in the following fields .

1. In worship which is the primary and principal means of a christian community.
2. In church life  to bring together and unite men in service of God
3. At school and in education in general
4. In public life  as a role model
5. At work and in economic life
6. In culture and social life
7. In politics

When cma was introduced in our parish we had seven out stations some of which later were cut to form St.Bernadette Ngoingwa parish.The following were the out stations and the years cma was started .

Projects

Currently we have one major project for the Archdiocese which is in Kamulu .We are building an institute of Technology for both boys and girls details of progress will send you on whattsapp.
